All text, plans, pictures and graphics contained in this website as well as the complete set of plans and documents being sold to the Purchaser are the exclusive property of Polehouses.com. Polehouses.com LLC retains the sole rights, title, intellectual property rights and ownership of the original documents. The Documents being sold to the Purchaser cannot be copied, resold or used by another person to construct another home.

Polehouses.com LLC as Licensor, grants you the Licensee (also known as "The Purchaser") the right to use the plans and specifications purchased (also known as "The Documents") to construct a single home. The complete text, plans, pictures and graphics of this website, as well as the complete set of plans and documents being sold to the Purchaser, is Copyrighted © and protected under the Federal Copyright Act, Title XVII of the United States Code and Chapter 37 of the Code of Federal Regulations.

Copying or reproduction in whole or in part is strictly prohibited by law. Unauthorized reproduction or sale of Copyrighted text, plans, pictures and graphics contained in this website as well as in the complete set of plans and documents being purchased from Polehouses.com LLC is a violation of Federal Copyright Laws. These laws allow the holder of the Copyright to recover damages of up to $100,000 per violation.

Construction plans purchased through Polehouses.com LLC are provided as is. Polehouses.com LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness of purpose. Polehouses.com LLC cannot be held liable for incidental, special, consequential, or indirect damages of any kind, including, but not limited to, loss of anticipated profits, business opportunity, or other economic loss arising out of the use of services or any construction plans received from Polehouses.com LLC, even if Polehouses.com LLC has been advised of the possibility of such damage. It is the responsibility of the Purchaser of our plans to ensure the accuracy, compliance with building codes, compliance with statutes or regulations in force in the locale the house is intended to be built, and fitness of purpose of any plans or construction information received from Polehouses.com LLC prior to use thereof. In the event any liability is imposed on Polehouses.com LLC, Polehouses.com LLC's liability to you or any third party shall not exceed the price paid by Purchaser for Polehouses.com LLC's plans and documents.

Construction license infringement of our products and Copyrighted documents are punishable in Federal Court by fines of up to $100,000 per violation.

Building Code Compliance
Every reasonable effort is made to ensure our pole houses are designed and engineered to surpass current regional and national building codes in effect at the time you purchase your plans, including the Uniform Building Code (UBC), and the International Residential Code (IRC). However, you, the Purchaser, may reside in an area which has unique or restrictive requirements and regulations, such as snow & wind loads, frost upheaval, seismic or an area which may require additional structural engineering calculations or services. Areas of the United States known to have such restrictive requirements and regulations currently in place are: California, Florida, Nevada, New York, New Jersey, Illinois, and the Atlantic Coastal and Gulf of Mexico Coastal State Regions. You may need to hire a local Structural Engineer to review, analyze the plans and provide the additional drawings and calculations required by your local authority. Such additional Structural Engineering services are the sole responsibility of the Purchaser, at the Purchaser's expense, to procure. Revisions or modifications to plans should only be undertaken by qualified personnel familiar with building codes.

In some States, the authorities may require an Architect or Structural Engineer licensed in that State, to completely redraw the plans and "seal" them. Dwellings to be built in Nevada, New Jersey, Delaware and New York may require the plans to be redrawn and "sealed" (stamped) by an Architect or Structural Engineer. Other States are also proposing legislation to impose these same regulations. Purchasers of our plans are advised to check with local building authorities, or the local Chapter of the AIA (American Institute of Architects) to obtain this information prior to placing an order for our plans.

If your local authorities require an Architect's or Structural Engineer's review or analysis of the plans and/or an Architect's or Structural Engineer's "seal" (stamp), you will need to have the plans reviewed and "sealed" (stamped), at your expense, in your local area. It is the sole responsibility of the Purchaser of our plans to ensure the accuracy, compliance with building codes, compliance with statutes or regulations in force in the locale the dwelling is intended to be built, and fitness of purpose of any plans or construction information received from Polehouses.com LLC prior to use thereof. A generous portion of all proceeds Polehouses.com LLC receives from the sale of our pole house plans is donated to several non profit organizations which offer sustainable solutions to aid the plight of the homeless in our communities.
